Event 2 — Wootton Road Runners

Course

About 9 km (5.5 miles): one lap of roughly 4.2 km around Delapre Park and the Delapre estate, run twice. The start is close to the entrance of the Abbey driveway, keeping away from other activity at Delapre Abbey, and the finish is down London Road with the Abbey in front of you. The course map includes the elevation profile and a satellite view of the route.

Parking

Free parking is available at Northampton Active, Bedford Road, Northampton, NN4 7AA (///bought.foods.ruby). Please car share where possible. Strictly no parking at Delapre Abbey. Marshals will direct you to the quickest route from HQ to the start at Delapre Abbey; please leave in good time to get to the start.

Facilities

Race HQ is on the first floor of Northampton Active. Toilets are available in the main (Senate) building, and public toilets are also available at Delapre Abbey. There are no showers or changing rooms. No muddy shoes are allowed in the HQ building: please remove your shoes before entering after the race.
