Wellingborough & District AC
About the club
Wellingborough & District AC is a road, trail and cross country running club with an active triathlon section, founded in 1992 by a group of marathon runners. Seniors train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from the Old Grammarians sports ground on Sywell Road in summer and Wrenn Academy in winter, in four pace groups plus a trail group. A junior section for ages 9 to 16 is coached separately and currently has a waiting list. The club has competed in the Three Counties league since 1996 and organises the Wellingborough 5 road race.
