About the club
Biggleswade Athletic Club, founded in 1951, is a track and field, cross country and road running club based at the athletics track on Medusa Way, Sandy, serving Biggleswade, Sandy, Potton and the surrounding villages. It has close to 300 members, including a junior section of around 100 with groups starting at age 8 and a progression route into the senior squads. Training is on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and the club has organised the Sandy 10 road race since 1998.
